in the context of designing a technical solution for Mapping and Projection for the inauguration event of their Fresque titled "La Semeuse" for the
Street Art Festival Rillieux 2022
with Spacejunk Lyon
"Spacejunk Lyon est aussi organisateur du Street Art Fest Rillieux depuis 2021. Ce projet consiste à mettre en place une résidence artistique ainsi que la conception et l’organisation d’un parcours et d’un festival de street art. Ces projets s’inscrivant dans une vaste dynamique de transformation et de valorisation du territoire de la ville de Rillieux-la-pape" --- Spacejunk Lyon

We put on our Production Boots to meet this beautiful artwork with a multi-projector setup from the window of the neighbouring building.
As the artists of Tyxna painted with paints this masterpiece over a surface of a 10 storey building in Rillieux-la-Pape; we were honoured by their trust in us to paint with light upon this grandiose beauty!
The Sound Design and Visual contents for the Inauguration were designed, developed and curated by Tyxna during their Art Residency; and it was a joy to work with such beautiful materials and to add Mosquito Massala contents and live mix for the evening!
The opening event was a celebration for the public as well as for the artists from the Festival and Art Residency. A Block Party at the base of the Fresque, was followed by the projection and live visuals for the soirée of 29 October 2022.

Mosquito Massala had the pleasure to collaborate with DTROVE for an Architectural Projection Mapping on Bal Samand Lake and Palace in Jodhpur, India.
This storytelling experience is a Light and Sound Pheras, and explores a 360 degree stage as a setting for an immersive Royal Wedding Experience.

Featuring Visuals by Samvida Nanda, Viktor Furiani and Param Virdee of the Mosquito Massala!
Opening up the night was Mumbai's Lucid Raaga aka Nelson OJ, an electronic producer who is fascinated by India's treasure trove of ethnic and folk sounds. He has worked extensively with musicians who play instruments such as the Sarangi, Sitar, Sarod, Flute and Veena . He was joined with live vocals from New York's Diana Lovrin.
Italian duo Fossick Project comprising illustrator Cecilia Valagussa and singer-songwriter Marta Del Grandi. Theirs is a creative collaboration where music and graphic compositions inspire one another and each performance is unique and site specific.
Closing out the night was live modular electronica act from Germany, ClicksandErrors . Christoph Dahlberg is a one-man band and his sets are based on broken beats and melancholic harmonies with syncopated and compulsive use of synths and drum machines .
